Sarah Cox Fowler of Paducah, age 64, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15th, 2022 at her residence.  Sarah was a graduate of Chester County High School, Henderson, TN and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lambeth College, Jackson, TN with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education.  She worked for the Kiwanis Center for Child Development in Jackson before moving to Paducah to work for Milestones and then Four Rivers Behavioral Health as a developmental interventionalist.  After retirement, in her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her dogs, Wookie and Winnie. Sarah is survived by her stepchildren, Travis (Shelby) Calhoun and Kristin Calhoun, her sister, Ramona (Barry) Young and nephew Ryan. Sarah is preceded in death by her long-time companion, Susan Calhoun, and her parents, Jacqueline (Mays) and Leon Cox. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, May 25th, 2022.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., with the service to follow.  The Reverend Robert Courtney will officiate the service.  Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Project Hope or Paducah Cooperative Ministries.
