Zelma Jones

MAYFIELD, Ky. - Zelma E. Ruggles Jones, 88, of Brownsville, Tenn., formerly of Mayfield, died Tuesday at Haywood Park Community Hospital in Brownsville.
Mrs. Jones was a lifetime member of Northside Baptist Church of Mayfield and a retired beautician.
Surviving are one son, Ronnie Jones of Brownsville; one daughter, Paula Jones Smith of Cincinnati; one sister, Juanita Chiles of Benton; two brothers, M.C. Ruggles of Benton and Rudy Ruggles of Gloucester, N.J.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Howard Jones. Her parents were Milo Clayton and Dovie Lowery Ruggles.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Byrn Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Wilkins officiating. Burial will be at Mayfield Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
