William "Billy" Hampton, 65, of Paducah died at 6:35 a.m. Wednesday at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah.
Mr. Hampton was a native of Paducah, a member of Waldo Baptist Church and a railroad retiree.
Surviving are two daughters, Marsha Morehead of Brookport, Ill., and Kathy Wetherington of Paris, Tenn.; four sisters, Deloris Sevenski, Loretta Slankard and Lorain Justice, all of Paducah, and Jane Taylor of Barlow; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda McGregor Hampton, and his parents, Albert William Hampton and Ann Perdue Taylor.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev Jack Russell officiating. Entombment will follow.
