William D. Evans, 70, of Paducah passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009, at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Evans was a native of Cairo, Ill. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a 1957 graduate of Lone Oak High School and was the owner and operator of Evans Honda in Paducah.
Surviving are Barbara Smith Evans; one sister, Terris Ann Harper of Bradenton, Fla.; one niece, Sherry Neel of Nashville, Tenn.; two nephews, Stephen Holcomb of Nashville and Jim Holcomb of Cedarburg, Wis.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Ray Evans, and his parents, William Chapman Evans and Dorothy Lee Morris Evans.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2009, at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit the family from 1:00 till 6:00 p.m. at Keeling Family Funeral Home on Sunday, March 8, 2009.
