Tammi Simpson

Tammi Simpson, 57, of Paducah, died Sunday, March 1, 2020 at UK HealthCare in Lexington, Ky.

Tammi was a cook at Massac County Elementary school and was of the Presbyterian faith.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Simpson; two children, Amber Marcelja and Joey Clements; her mother, Phyllis Young; five siblings, Patricia Smiddy, William Young, Victoria Pollinger, Michelle Pollinger, and Jerry Pollinger, and 10 grandchildren.

Preceding Tammi in death is her father, William Young; great-grandmother, Lucille Whaley; one aunt, Alice Detlefsen; and one uncle, Van Whaley.

A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens located at 6965 Mayfield Rd in Paducah, zip code 42003, Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 1 pm. No visitation will be held.

Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah will be in charge of arrangements.
