Robert Harper

Robert L. Harper, 63, of Ledbetter, Kentucky passed away at 2:08 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health Lourdes. He was a retired Electrician from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #816. Robert was a member of the Night Moves Dance Club and enjoyed boating.

He is survived by his wife of 26 ½ years, Mary F. Griffin Harper; three daughters, Melonie Shelton and husband Michael of Calvert City, Kentucky, Christina Armstrong and husband, Louie of Paducah, Kentucky and Ruth Gill of Clarksville, Tennessee; sister, Gloria J. Brdlik and husband Dean of Lewisburg, West Virginia; five grandchildren, Jessica Tucker and husband Josh, Courtney Kelly, Eli Gill, Erin Anderson and Serenity Halstead; two great grandchildren, Madyson Tucker and Olivia Tucker.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert J. Harper and Marcheta J. Henson Harper.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Dean Brdlik officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
