Rickie Walker, 63, of Ledbetter, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Springlake Health and Rehabilitation in Salem.
Mr. Walker was a towboat engineer and diesel mechanic. He was a member of Gospel Mission Baptist Church and NHRA. In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and boating.
Surviving are his mother, Marie Gamble of Paducah; one son, Rickie Walker II of Paducah; two daughters, Rachel Walker and Emily Walker, both of Paducah; one sister, Cheryl Walker of Paducah; six grandchildren, Danielle Taylor of Paducah, Candyce Champion of Paducah, Jordan Brockwell of Delaware, Connor McCallister of Paducah, Dax McCallister of Paducah, and Tate Wilson of Paducah; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and one special friend, Donna Walker.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Walker; two brothers, Jackie Walker and Terry Walker; and one niece, Juanita Walker.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2013, at the funeral home.
