Raymond Chapman

Mr. Raymond J. Chapman, age 96, of Mayfield, passed away at 5:26 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Baptist Health in Paducah. He was a retired construction worker and a United States Army Veteran. He is survived by two daughters; Phyllis (Jerry) Carter, Mayfield, Patricia Seaford, Mayfield, one son; Ronnie Chapman, Mayfield, two sisters; June Roach, Murray and Faye Morefield, Mayfield, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; Dorothy L. Chapman, his parents; Herman and Pennie Cloys Chapman, two sisters; Bernice Mason, Vera Lee Derrington, one brother; Avery Chapman and one grandson; Christopher Chapman. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Mayfield Memory Gardens with Revs. Duane Fields and Ronnie Cope officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 26. Friends are asked to meet at the Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
