Phillip Wallace Sr

Phillip Leon Wallace, age 83, of Paducah passed away Saturday at 11:29 a.m. at Lourdes hospital.
He was a native of Kentucky and was a member of Highland Baptist Church. He was a member of the Laborers Local 1214. He was also known as the swing maker on Husband Road.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Martha Leidecker Wallace; his daughter, Linda Shelton (Darrel) of Paducah, three sons, Phillip L. Wallace Jr. (Donna) and Wayne L. Wallace, both of Paducah and Boyd (Gene) Wallace (Kay) of West Paducah; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Phillip Wallace and Pearl Miller Wallace; one brother, Jesse Wallace; and a sister, Novalee Garland.
Graveside services will be held at the chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Richard Beck officiating.
