Opal Evitts

June 27, 1918 — June 22, 2011

Opal Mae Evitts, 92, of Paducah died Wednesday at Calvert City Convalescent Center.

She was a knitter at Claussner Hosiery Mill and a member of the former Aldersgate Methodist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Faye Futrell, Joyce Albritten and Brenda Caillouet, all of Paducah; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Paul Evitts; one daughter, Gale Clark; three brothers, and three grandchildren. Her parents were Montie and Tina Wicker.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Roth Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dave Garrett officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
