Nilda Simak, 76, of Paducah died 8:50 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013, at her home.
She was a native of Puerto Rico and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Steven Simak of West Hollywood, Calif., and Michael Simak of Paducah; one sister, Juanita Febo of Puerto Rico; one brother, Gil Serrano of Wasilla, Alaska; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Simak. Her parents were Jose' Serrano and Clemencia Serrano.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 2013, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church Chapel with Terry Larbes officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
Expression of sympathy may be made to American Cancer Society, 3140 Parisa Drive, Paducah, KY 42003.
