Merland Schmidt

Merland Schmidt, 61, of Paducah died at 11:25 p.m. Monday at her home.
Mrs. Schmidt was a native of Union City, Tenn. She was a member of the Bethel Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Schmidt; one son, Billy Joe Millner Jr. of Newbern, Tenn.; two daughters, Cora Jean Bryson of Newbern and Norma Lorene Roberts of Dyersburg, Tenn; two brothers, Howard King of Calvert City and Paul King of Paducah; one half-brother, Jack King of Florida; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren. Her parents were Roy King and Mildred Katherine Walker King Moody.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Revs. Gary Neeble, Jeff Hartman and Mike Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
