MAYFIELD, Ky. - Leon Copeland, 80, of Mayfield died at 1:10 a.m. Wednesday at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
Mr. Copeland was retired from Merit Clothing Company, a member of First Church of the Nazarene and a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include two sons, James Copeland and Donald Copeland, both of Mayfield; one daughter, Betty Stevens of Mayfield; one sister, Rachel Williams of Murray; one grandchild; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nedra Price Copeland; one brother; and two sisters. His parents were Rufus and Agnes Russell Copeland.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Mayfield Memory Gardens with the Revs. Steve Melvin and Robert Cantrell officiating.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
