John Cannon

Services for John R. Cannon, 78, of Paducah will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Mike Rothwell officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Cannon died at 9:50 a.m. Sunday at his home.
He was a retired driver for Paducah Area Transit System and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Wilson Cannon; two sons, Robert D. Cannon of Cunningham and Curtis Cannon of Bandana; one daughter, Sandra McCaid of Paris, Tenn.; one stepson, John Pearson of Paducah; two stepdaughters, Sharon Stinson of Paducah and Rhonda Hogan of Grand Prairie, Texas; four grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one stepson and one grandchild. His parents were Archie Cannon and Valtis Gargus Cannon.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
