Jack Wood

Jack R. Wood, 79, of West Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 3:08 P.M. Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Jack was born in Hartford, Kentucky on September 27, 1939 to Holland and Marion Wood. He was a graduate of Heath High School and worked as a crane operator out of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 181. He was a 22nd Degree Mason, member of Spring Bayou Baptist Church, and enjoyed traveling and various hobbies.

Mr. Wood is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lynda Mariee Pace Wood; his son, Patrick Wayne Wood, of West Paducah; his sister, Nancy Lee Miller, of West Paducah; his grandson, Andrew Cody McGregor, of Louisville, Kentucky; his nieces, Jackie Lee Parker, Georgia McCubbins, Marty Miller.

Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his son, Toby Dwayne Wood; his parents, Holland Andrew Wood and Marion Vandila Myhre Wood.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Miller officiating. There will be a private burial.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Lone Oak Chapel.
