SHARPE, Ky. - Graveside services for Edith Virginia "Nenney" Barefield Chappell, 90, of Sharpe will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Randy Stacy will officiate.
Mrs. Chappell died at 11:50 a.m. Monday at Lourdes hospital in Paducah.
She was a native of Lyon County, retired from Florsheim Shoe Company after 35 years, and was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Willie Belle McCain of Sharpe, and a niece, Susan Renee McCain of Sharpe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Chappell; two sisters; and one brother. Her parents were Jim and Elvyn Yates Barefield.
There will be no visitation.
Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
