Devota Gibson

Mrs. Devota Gibson, age 85, of Portland, TN and formerly of Mayfield, passed away at 9:50 A.M. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at her residence. She was a retired clerk for Bethlehem Steel Co. and a member of First Baptist Church in Portland, TN. She is survived by her husband; Kenneth Gibson, one daughter; Lori Cook, Portland, TN., three grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; Cloys and May Gardiner Gray, six brothers; C.J., Cloys “Dick” Gray, Harold Gray, Voyce Gray, J. D. Gray, Ronald Gray, two sisters; Paula Gray and Virginia Jo Mullins. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with Rev. Wes Fowler officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be; Linnard Gibson, David Gibson, Ricky Mullins, Clayton Mullins, Tony Gray and Terry Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be; Joe Skaggs, Joe Pool and Paul Gerald Mullins. Interment will follow in the Mayfield Memory Gardens. Friends may call after 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
