Services for Charles "Doug" Gable, 42, of Lone Oak will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Stan Reid officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Gable died Tuesday at Lourdes hospital.
He was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church and had worked in the river industry.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Ann Gable; his parents, Robert and Emma Hughes Gable of Granite, Okla.; two brothers, Bob Gable of Moore, Okla., and Stephen Gable of Granite, Okla.; one sister, Christina Gable of Granite, Okla.; two nieces; and two nephews.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Project Hope Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 125, Metropolis, IL 62960.
